    - Now that 2009 is here, the most frequently asked question from home buyers who might utilize the $7500 tax credit regards buying in ‘09 and claiming the credit on the ‘08 tax filing.  Q15 on page 4 of the NAR brochure (below) answers this concisely (it’s yes, by the way).  It is a very well-written piece and answers every question I’ve ever been asked.  The IRS link below is also a very consumer friendly primer on the tax credit and is great to share with any new first time home buyers.
